Antalya Housing Prices Surpass Madrid and Miami

Analysts have revealed an interesting fact: the price for a six-bedroom residence (6+1) in Antalya, the "resort capital" of Türkiye, exceeds that of average decent housing in Spain's capital, Madrid, or in the famous Miami, Florida, USA. Even the large area of 970 square meters does not fully justify the high price.

According to a comparison by Antalya Ekspres, the cost of this specific property, listed for 170 million Turkish lira (TL) in Antalya's Muratpaşa district, equates to $5,274,479. In contrast, the highest price for an "average residence" in Miami is around $748,000. This means that the price of high-end properties in Antalya is seven times higher than those in Miami.

Looking at other areas in Miami, an apartment in the downtown area can be found for $550,000, in Edgewater for $748,000, in Little Haiti for $489,000, and in Midtown for $688,000.

Even more than average apartments in Antalya are pricier: for example, a 3+1 apartment in the popular Konyaaltı district, favored by both buyers and developers, is selling for 130 million TL. This is over $4 million.

Returning to Madrid, the average price for an apartment in the center of the Spanish capital is $492,000. This means that the apartment in Antalya's Muratpaşa district is approximately 10 times more expensive (equivalent to €4,857,143), while the one in Konyaaltı is about 7.5 times more expensive (equivalent to €3,714,285).

These comparisons highlight the dramatic rise in property prices in Antalya, positioning it above even some of the world's most renowned cities in terms of real estate costs.
